D A N I M !
What: This is only a BETA version, and is NOT in the Public Domain,
BUT IS FREELY-DISTRIBUTABLE. I especially allow Fred Fish to
include this program in any of his DISKS, as long as the
PROGRAM itself is not changed (This text need not be included).
How: The Program runs only from CLI/SHELL/ICONX and has only
three parameters, (in this version):
1> DANIM [-c#] [-d#] filename
[] denotes, as always, an option.
-c# is the number of times the anim should loop, default is
around 132564 times.
-d# is the delay time, 0 being FAST, 5 being DEFAULT, the
higher the slower!
Extra: While the anim is running, one can hit HELP (yes, I use this
button). This gives you some extra options. At the moment
I'm being a bit messy, as this is but a beta version, but
I'll do it properly (open a window) in the final version.
HELP: FOLLOWING FUNCS
Right-ALT -> KleanMem (frees a bit of unused ram, etc...)
Cursor-UP -> SLOWER (MAX 500, well, not really...)
Cursor-DOWN -> FASTER (MIN 0)
R-SHIFT EXITS HELP FUNCTION
While the anim is running, you can also do the following:
Any key not listed as doing anything will, as long as it's pressed,
hold the present frame still.
Left-ALT -> SAVE PIC TO DF0:DPC.Xnnnn (DISK should be open)
Left-SHIFT ABORTS THIS PROGRAM!!!
Bugs: I am afraid this program does not work on an ATARI, nor can a PC
user Profit from it... BUT DANIM WILL work on anything called an
AMIGA, be it an A1000, A500, A2000, A2500 or A3000!!!
Plans: Have a window for the help Functions, make it faster/smaller,
load while playing, play even if mem is full, allow merging of
several ANIMS (already done, but not perfect), add sound (???),
implement any ideas I get...
